Rebirth
by Pomegranate
Age Group: Adult
Water tickling the back of her neck,
Stretched out for deliverance or oblivion.
The balance always shifts when she least expects it to.
She reaches out, and half the time grasps only air.
All the loves in all the lives she’s led wait for their turn to stand, or embrace, or walk away…
The lines are drawn, but she never sees them.
Walking the line between herself and others,
Stumbling wildly as they laugh.
She looks into the scented depths; Feeling like it could bring her sweet relief.
Water against her body. (Pleasurably soothing and soft)
In stark contrast to her Mind and Heart. (Sensory overload, Piercing pain)
