Mind like a train wreck
by Pomegranate
Age Group: Adult
Mind like a train wreck,
Heart in my throat.
Tears in my eyes and
Hands on my coat.
Staring at the door,
Wanting to leave.
It’s raining outside,
The better to grieve.
Clench my hands tight,
Willing the pain to pass.
No use anymore to fight,
It’s all in the past.
