Lessons

Age Group: Adult
Full moon above, the stars shine bold,
Sitting by the fire's glow.
In the darkness I can see,
Lessons that are meant for me.
To learn and grow from past mistakes,
The consequences I must take.
What I send out comes back to me,
Good or bad, in strength, times three.
Goddess touch upon my brow,
As She gently shows me how;
To live a life that's full of love,
Strength rains down from Her Above.
I light a candle, say a prayer,
Send it out on the warm night air.
Eyes wide open, no longer blind,
Developing subconcious mind.
Slowly I begin to chant,
Drawing power from the land.
Energizing mind and soul,
As above, and so below.
Place my hands upon the Earth,
Grounding power back to Her,
To use again when I'm in need,
As I will, so mote it be.
