Ritual

Ritual
Frost in the air, the leaves turn gold,
Warm fire burning bright.
Sitting at the water's edge,
Seeking Spirit's light.
Twinkling stars are overhead,
Soon the moon will rise.
Inward turning, ever seeking,
Knowledge from the Wise.
Lighting candles, circle round,
Sage the cold night air.
Purify this sacred space,
Call the Spirits fair.
All are one, and One is All,
Here with me tonight.
Elements that I've invoked,
Watchtowers within sight.
Feeling spirit's warm embrace,
All bad feelings gone.
Drawing power from the Earth--
I find myself in awe.
