Sacred Space

Sacred Space
Pines majestic stand above,
I walk in shadows, think of love.
Peace I find among the trees,
Strength flows up from Earth to me.
A stream I find to walk along,
To listen to it sing it's song.
Birds sing above, I hear the cry,
Of eagles near; my heart, it sighs.
Calm awareness, Sacred Space,
I gaze upon the Goddess face;
And know She lies within my soul,
As above, and so below.
The sun, it sets upon the day,
Soon the stars come out to play.
Twilights purple falls on me,
Fills me with peace for all to see.
Sacred Space and Circle Round,
Candles placed upon the ground.
Bell and pentacle and knife,
I set my alter as I like.
On my knees begin to pray,
Giving thanks for this day;
And know the Power lies in me,
As I will, so mote it be.
