Transformation

Age Group: Adult
In peaceful silence, darkness falls,
I try to find my way.
So lost inside, feel so alone,
As I begin to pray.
I pray for comfort, I pray for hope,
I pray to understand.
I pray for strength, for peace, for love,
As I kneel upon the sand.
I light a candle, and feel the prescence,
Of Spirit from within.
Tears then trickle down my face,
My transformation soon begins.
I cast off hurt, I cast off greed,
I cast off fear of what's around.
I cast off doubt and self-hate,
As my walls come tumbling down.
I reach to Spirit and hold on tight,
Soon I'm filled with love.
I'm filled with peace, I'm filled with hope,
And blessings from above.
