Fight the Frigid
by Jester of The Dead
Age Group: Adult
I go to fight the frigid.
To take out the chase,
cutting to the quick.
I bring war to those who don’t know,
dying forever is so lonely.
Teaching understanding with
a fist of steel, and a heart of lead.
Reek vengeance upon the vengeful.
The slugs defying.
Pour salt on ill-fated victories.
Memories just foam in the aftermath.
I sought the undeserving,
taking the brunt of it.
Drain the chance to hurt again.
Not you…..don’t be so close to me.
I gained the effects of throw back,
Overkill is my best reward.
This isn’t fair,
I will kill them all.
Author's Notes: Somedays, you can NEVER trust the intentions of those around you. At every step, a knife will wisper it's way in when you least expect it.
