Conspiracy Against Cadamus

Illustrious pen in unsure hands!
As once you were the defining stroke
of change In men,
be now on me of opposite intent.
Barter back all this mass once dreamed.
Now, heathen as it’s predeceasing wish to be.
From stone beaten into cold steel blades,
Won-all
Lost-all
Progressed into fine stroked ink.
On feathered paper,
Propositioning the worst things in men
to come true.
Repent…….
Transgress against thyself to be
that sharpened steel again!
This lie that,
men self proclaim as life,
weighs heavy as it is false.
Bring the dreams as now you
brought the words.
Fill me once again!
Author's Notes: One of those coffee shop days.....sipping away, and looking for some inspiration. where to begin, when trying to bear a tortured soul?
