Touch

Touch the skin you love so much
Touch and celebrate.
How could something so beautiful
Be the object of so much hate?
How can that skin hold the evil
You speak of oh so much?
And where is the harm in showing
Such a burning love with Touch?
No matter the path you’ve taken
Nor which god you choose
A man is a man, woman a woman,
And Touch we cannot lose.
Why say your body is evil?
Why bury your shoulders in guilt?
If God created humanity
Then cuddle under your quilt!
Celebrate such wonder
And rejoice in wondrous Touch.
Reach out to those that need it
And embrace those you love so much.
Author's Notes: This is talking about how mainstream religions speak of sex or physical passion as a source of sin. My rebuttal if you will.
