Cheeks

My stubbled cheeks are saturated
With some salty drops of anger
And the questions that distrub me
Are the ones you've never answered
You tried to let me down
You drank in all my pain
You'd tell me that you love me
Just to drag it out again
But
Now you've left and all is peaceful
Or
So it seems upon the surface
Underneath my heart is vacant
Covered up in party favors
You tried to hold me up
You showed me all my light
You'd kiss me on these same cheeks
And wish me a good night
Was it ever something that you meant
When you said that it was right
Author's Notes: Yada, yada. Got my heart broken. Tried to die. It was a mess. I'm better now inside, but if I'm bitter, Heather was the reason.
There's a point - Get over it. Whoever it is, whatever happened, whatever they did, or you did, whoever said what: MOVE ON. You're a person, HUMAN, so are they, so stop it...
