Angel

Shadows dance on whitewashed walls
Cast there by the light of God
Fingerprints betray her fall
Angel forfeits all she's got
Thrown upon the dirty ground
Onto pavement scraping knees
Desolate she makes her rounds
Cradling a love that bleeds
Consolation leaves its mark
Lust and solace disarrange
Stalling judgement in the dark
Momentary flight from pain
Longing lost and scared she runs
Vision blocked by vapor clouds
Stumbling in the morning sun
She cries and screams it aloud
Author's Notes: Little girl runs away to the big bad world and it rapes her, whores her out, makes her beg to die then sends her off to *** them all so she can survive one more day and she's so far from the farm she can't even smell hope anymore.
