The roar of thunder
ripples through the thought
that is my mind.
The constant noise and chatter
of the people that pass me by,
makes me think of another time.
Though the Mother of God
may not hear our cry,
the rolling thunder won't pass us by.
Mother Earth quakes with anger
as we destroy her once green forest,
destroyed be the fire, and all the while,
She screams with ire.
And so comes the passing of time,
people live and people die.
That is the Mother welcoming her children.
All life comes to an end,
but when does the Mother's time end?
The Mother cannot keep us
because of the cycle of rebirth.
The Mother cries as we destroy her once green Earth.
We are merciless in our attack,
fighting against the Mother's womb,
but yet we wait for the bloom of summer.
We cannot help but love and hate the world
because some are treated more in favor of the Mother.
And some are left to die at sea.
The Sea of Turmoil envelopes those
who's suffering would make one choke,
and these people, they find their peace.
All life comes to an end,
but when does the Mothers time end?
