Star of the Night

Arianrhod! Arianrhod! O Peerless Star of the Night!
Upon her breast, the Silver Wheel
In her fair, white hand, a sword of steel
Wild for to hold she is, though tame she may seem
O Lady of the Silver Wheel, Light of the Midnight Skies,
Arianrhod is she who walks between worlds,
Who fears not the Night
She wanders where none else dares
Shadows fly before her
She knows the hearts and minds of men
And can lift the veil and see beyond.
Author's Notes: Arianrhod, the Welsh goddess of the moon and stars, is whom I claim devotion to. It is her name I have adopted for myself, and I wear her symbol always.
