Flower

I wish that one day,
I may find a flower.
A flower,
Which I may be able to hold,
And take care of.
The flower will be the one thing that I may be able to see,
Before I lay down to sleep,
And before I wake.
It doesn’t matter what type of soil the flower comes from,
Let it be rich or dry as the dessert sand,
A flower is a flower.
If it is a rose I would hold it close,
But not to tight.
For the thrones will cut me deep.
It really do not matter what type of flower I hold.
I just hope pray and wish that the day may not come,
When I finally find my flower.
Take it home in care for it,
And find out that my flower is not a flower.
It never was and never will be.
That the flower I took care of for so long,
Was and forever will be a weed.
