Hues of Understanding

Colors of Love
Red to blue,
black to white,
I see you coming
in the night.
Shades of yellow
turned to brown,
Shadows created
as the sun goes down.
Silence, stillness
your coming close,
The depths of color
are your repose.
Color brought forth
from blackness within,
Your closeness is felt in
the flame where you begin.
Blackness bursts forth
exposing you to the world,
Through the brilliance of flame
in your honor unfurled.
Energy created in your behalf,
so the world can see,
Letting souls know where
their lives must agree.
Kept in the darkness
by those who are blind,
your purpose of life
is left far behind.
Closer you come
to the world of light,
Through the flame lit to honor
you this night.
Blackness has fallen around the world
except where the few, who understand,
Have lifted the veil
and stand hand in hand,
Making the forces of your
love be known,
Again on this plane
where the soul has been sown.
Purple changes to yellow,
red to green,
Blue becomes orange, all the world's
oppositions are seen.
Intensity of one,
dullness of another,
Little do souls know how to balance
thenselves, with their brother.
Only a spark in the beginning,
with the fuel to grow,
Your colors of creation are brought forth
for those, who are ready to know.
Leaving behind the ones
who are blind,
The souls who have been lost
in the blackness, of their own mind.
With me now,
I'm in your embrace,
The spectrum of love
I have looked in the face.
Guided by you,
the colors of essence,
Through this blackness of souls
who are not aware of your presence,
I'll make my way,
from the fear and doubt,
That surround mankind
and keep you shut out.
Blessed be, are those
who have seen,
The spark of love,
within their own being.
