Once There Was

Once there was green
pure and true,
Shading the earth,
sparkling with dew.
Once there was blue
calm and serene,
Blowing soft and fresh
across the terrane.
Once there was yellow
warm and bright,
Spreading itself
to erase the night.
Once there was red
violent and hot,
Forming new lands
where once there was not.
Now there is grey
dull and vague,
Creeping over the world
slowly, like a plague.
A plague can be cured
not bye the whole,
But, bye each doing his part
and assuming his role,
In the scheme, in the plan,
to save the whole world
And make it safe,
fore all of man.
