Patience is a virtue

Patience is a virtue they say,
you ask me to come your way,
then ignore me all day.
I wish you would just be honest with me
then, i wouldn't have to bother thee
what happened to our communication?
this seems to be a negative transformation
jealousy and possession
are you trying to teach me a lesson?
i am true to you though you are not mine
if you aren't the same, that's quite fine
i must save my self
you are greedy and need more wealth
money destroys our precious earth
burn frankinsense and some mirth
to calm the storm,
i will not crawl your way like a worm
but still i'm on my knees
begging you please
aking, pleading for a taste of your love
it seems pure, like a dove
but, my dear, you are only full of lies,
you play tricks to make me think it's a compromise
don't think i don't know
i want you out, go now.
how many times have i said that statement?
i can't sit here and watch nothing ferment.
I wish i could express to you how i feel
you wouldn't believe me, you would say it wasn't real.
that's the difference between you and me,
i see now that we could never be.
never say never,
how clever.
i love you but i don't need you.
i thought it could be us two.
i was wrong, all along.
this is my goodbye for now.
how come? i don't know? how?
