The Girl from Atlantis

I'm a girl from Atlantis,
my dress is light blue & gold.
Her is my story, it begs to be told.
Osprey, Owl, Horse, Wolf & Snake -
When I am on land, in my life please par take.
Dolphins, Swans, & Creatures of th Sea -
When I am on your waters, please my protection be.
From my homes Northern window the Mountains reach the sky, I say a prayer in my meadow land home for the time thats gone by.
Today my lover leaves his armour at home.
A guard for Royalty, On this day he's mine to behold.
Before he wakes to our garden I will go,
I make a parfume of Roses & Figs.
For this day my love I will do my best to please.
As he wakens from our bed, I bathe his strong body
& brush the beautiful mane of hair upon his head.
Then we feast on the bounty from our Orchard & freshly baked bread.
Today on our ship, to the Sea we will go.
Get lost in the waves, so noone will know.
Aries shines so clear & bright, We make love as this day turns into night.
I melt into my love, as he gently strokes my long brown hair & whispers to me " I love you my maiden so fair.'
Luna is smiling as we reach land,
To our home we go gently holding hands.
We dine once more on wine & bread -
It's been a delightful day, now it's off to bed.
Close to his heart I start to fall asleep,
I dream of my beautiful life in Atlantis
while tears of joy stream from my cheek.
Author's Notes: We hear about the destuction , that we forget this was once an amazing place to live, my take on Atlantis.
