Autumn Blessing from a Kitchen Witch

Age Group: Adult
As I walk through life today,
I see colour of a beautiful world at play.
The changing of the leaves
to red & orange from green.
Some would call it trivial,
but I say it's a gift to be seen.
A unique look at fall
when a Kitchen Witch is about to install,
all her remedies & potions for the Season.
If you know her, you realize, shes preparing.
Think about it & you'll see her reasons.
She's planning ahead.
Storing up Fall fruits, vegetables &herbs,
so we may all be fed.
This is the time to reflect & rest,
hopefully knowing that we have truly done our best.
Our best to nurture ourselves & others.
For this is The Goddess's delight.
If we have, then we can rest well
in the cold, dark hours called night.
If we use this time well & continue to learn,
we may know safe keep as the Wheel turns.
This is my personal wish & blessing for all.
May we remember that each of the Seasons serves us well, these enchanting times each with their own spells.
Do them with love & all will be right.
For The Goddess & God will smile on us bright.
