YULE

YULE!
The Moon shines bright on the new fallen snow,
Lighting the fields and the trees with a glow.
Mystical, magickal, this Season now here,
For Yule is a time of friendship and cheer.
We light up the house both inside and out
And add signs of the Season and what we’re about.
Evergreens, garlands, and a five pointed star,
Mistletoe hanging just above where you are.
Presents sit wrapped in a place out of sight,
For the Coveners all to exchange on this night.
And there in the fireplace waiting to be lit,
Blessed and harvested the Yule Log does sit.
The feasts on the table awaiting our start
As we gather together – one mind and one heart.
For sharing is caring and we meet here in love
To be one at Yule with the Lord and Lady above.
