With Love From Earth to Sun

Since the silence of eternity I have known you. Entwined in this sublime dance, our souls thrived as one until our cosmic cord began to unravel. When the last strand broke, I and you hurtled away through a blood red sky. My hand grasping and my breath gasping I tried to hold on. My soul screamed for you.
For many long nights, I wept in agony.
I shivered, fearing that your warmth would never return to me.
Then I felt the most curious thing, a rush of wind wrapped around me. It whispered your name, burning my ear, igniting my soul.
My journey back to you ate away at my pain, every step braiding our cord, every mile your soul's call guided me.
I wept from joy when I saw your light again. Your hand warmed my frigid soul. My heart melted by the heat of your lips. Our souls fused into their natural whole once more
Author's Notes: I first posted this in my myspace blog. I also have it posted on care2.com. Personally, I feel that it is one of my best pieces and I just can't stop sharing it. It was written in my favorite way; on the fly with no editing.
