I Don't Know

you call me stupid allege that I'm crazy
loudly call me junkie or tell me I'm lazy
I respect your differences
you condemn mine
all actions watched movements questioned second guessed
the cup of sample, double blue bar
until next time, awash in relief
yet sometimes I just can't cope you call it dope back the *** off or be up against the rope
I hope... nope
I doubt that you'll ever see
all that ***ed up emotion within me
Maybe...
Does it fill you with glee
to see me
misery and pain under guise of care
free laid
back reign
over life but
don't get it wrong I can be strong if
you consider my decision to not hit the bong as strong
I think it's smart
not strong
sometimes you must part it's no big deal
It's just part of learning to keep it real
some
times I perceive that I am not believed
I don't need your advice if
the moment I leave
unwilling to give me a second chance
no longer will I step this dance
Well I'm done sugar coating all my convictions and views
I'm done giving a sh*t whether or not it offends you
you tell me I'm nothing you say that I'm ***ed up
won't let me near your kids cuz you think they'll get locked up
don't trust me alone think I'm shrouded in guise
everywhere I go it seems I'm pressured by eyes
everything I say is naught but a pack of lies
internal sanctum, solace across synapse
the calm before
within
is the storm
a horseshoed psyche
I feel the beast
both good and evil fear
free spirit speech and thought
costing quite a lot
yet how I've gained
for every loss there is a gain
for every pleasure, a pain
smokin dopin
toking coking
what's the matter
how I'm doping
long as I can keep on coping with
reality
one time someone sang
something's wrong with the world today and I don't know what it is
I think I
know-one appreciates
no-one learns
for the sake of learning
saddening for sure with
out a doubt
emptiness
not from without
yet external
knowledge eternal diminished greatly
the scholar depreciated unappreciated
ridiculed for their thirst to learn
condemned for a desire, nay
an addiction fiend to learn
feed the know
never ever felt so low
as when I ask can i learn will you teach
and you say no
no harm is meant but wrong
is done
all the apologies cannot fix one
mistake
Author's Notes: while writing, this felt like it flowed right through my arm and out the pencil, without me having to think about it. i went to a new line when i felt i should end the previous line, and i like it.
