Dare

To dance
To dare
To feel Romance
To be fair
Dance like noone is watching;
Dare like you've got nothing to lose;
Find the eyes that are mocking
And the eyes that have nothing to lose.
To dream
To dazzle
To know or seem
To watch it unravel.
Dream like wishes come true;
Dazzle like everyone is watching you;
Seem to know everything;
Put it back together as it's unraveling.
Sometimes no one is watching,
Or you have nothing to lose,
And some eyes do mock,
And some eyes try to prove.
Sometimes wishes do come true,
Or everyone is watching you,
And you just might know everything,
And it really could all unravel.
But Dare,
Dare to dream,
Dare to dance,
Dare to dazzle.
Author's Notes: I wrote this a year ago, but now I can't remember why... I think it had a good effect on me, because a month later I tried out for a play at school. ( I got a significant role, by the way.) I don't do plays anymore because of my work load, but I'm still daring.
