Pride

Sex and love,
Fear and strife,
No control
Means no life.
Watch yourself
Before you fall,
Or else you'll
Lose it all.
Test the water;
Feel the ice;
Keep your head up;
Ignore their eyes.
Find the truth;
Hide the lie;
Open your wings;
Soar to the sky.
Smell the rose;
Watch it grow;
Tell it every secret
That you know.
Hear the bird;
Climb the tree;
Go so high
You cease to be.
Ignore my advice, pay your price
You can't hide your vicious pride.
Author's Notes: These are pretty much instructions on how to live your life. (Yes, I'm laughing.) But there is a warning at the end, and basically, I'm saying that you need to absorb your whole life or you're going to miss stuff, and all because of your pride.
