Awakening
by Silver Lotus Moon
Age Group: Adult
Now I peer into mysteries
and dwell under moonlight;
I feel a stirring
beginning within me.
A dark sky shines
with new brightness
as stars burn through night--
dark melting to light.
The ending is not an ending
but a beginning
I have known again
and again.
I am starting to know
an unspeakable thing;
I am finally awakening.
Illumination shines softly.
So many days spent
fumbling for my way
but now I see the road--
an ancient path
open wide.
