Winter is cold, it seeps through our skin and into our bones
The beauty of winter always strikes me and I'm left in awe
The trees stand tall despite feirce winds
The ground is buried under a mask of snow-a blanket of white
The ice is reflective- a reflection of ourselves
The silence of the earth- the silence of our voice
Now is a time to look into who we are
It is a time to quiet our physical voice and to let our souls speak
We find our flaws- and we accept them
We realize our accomplishments-and we rejoice
The flaws we discover aren't permeanate
We owe it to ourselves to strive to fix these flaws
The God resides in the Underworld awaiting rebirth just like us
We let go of mistakes made learning from them so that in spring we may rejoice with bursting flowers
The flowers that break free of the icy cover of winter
We celebrate for the Wheel has turned
The Wheel has turned and will continue to do so for generations to come
So mote it be
