Ones Inner struggle

Who do you think you are leaving me with these scars?
The past revolves inside me; I can’t give away my heart….
Because of our painful start…
My heart aches knowing you;
Knowing you’re out there still…
Your memories seeps into my skin;
Your smell engraved upon me still…
Who do you think you are leaving me with these scars?
The past revolves inside me; I can’t give away my heart….
Because of our painful start…
My tears; I shed plenty….
Staining my sheets with red;
laying awake now lost….
As tears drift onto the bed….
Who do you think you are leaving me with these scars?
The past revolves inside me; I can’t give away my heart….
Because of our painful start…
Tears flow into pools at your-
Leaving me now all alone….
Only the Gods and goddesses,
Can heal my broken soul….
Author's Notes: Broken Heart ( a poem Inspired by the song Jar of hearts by Christina Perri )
I was not sure if this was healing or other, and I think it could be both honestly....
