Free Your Soul

The time has come my child
To seek the better things in life.
To end your pain and suffering,
And abandon all your strife.
Stop and smell the flowers
Enjoy the sweet incense
For you alone possess the power
To end your repentance.
“It’s not your fault.”
You hear someone say.
So carpe diem, child.
Go and seize the day.
There is so much more within this world
That you could enjoy.
So rid yourself of all your worries
And all the demons you employ.
Life is so much better
Without the pain and sorrow.
Leave behind all the bad things
And live for a better tomorrow.
Author's Notes: In other words, stop feeling sorry for yourself. Get up off your butt and have some fun.
