The Beginning
by Angelwick
Age Group: Adult
The light he followed was dim.
At times it seemed the light faded
Into nothing.
The final long corridor was well lit.
It was lined with a ghostly mist
The smoky gray mist of the spirit
Guided him to his final destination.
Upon reaching the end of his journey
He sat to rest and regain his strength.
The spirit moved about the room
as the others joined him.
As the final traveler entered the room and sat,
The mist grew thicker above them.
He was in the most relaxed, meditative state
He has ever experienced.
As cones of light appeared in front of him
And on either side of him
He could feel the energy of those around him grow.
The energy gathered together
Binding them all into one.
Their combined power was swelling.
It could no longer be contained.
In another moment the energy would be released
Into a raging force of spiritual greatness
And rapture.
Author's Notes: Great and awesome things can happen when many people take the same journey alone and end up adding their own energies to a collective cause.
