Goddess of the Stars

Goddess of the stars,
Shining bright upon this face of mine,
Keeping me close at night,
Whisper to me your otherworldly secrets.
Walk with me through the shadows, hold me tight.
You help to strip the fear from my mind.
So kind, your are so kind,
Beauty carries deep into your soul,
Your soft touch still making me glow.
Your are the friend I miss,
When the sun, it comes to shine,
Waiting through the day to see your beauty once again,
Lift me up into your arms,
Rock me gently, singing songs of the stars,
Put me to sleep with your hypnotizing sound.
In dreams we meet,
Dancing circles ‘round the earth,
Holding each other till the end of time,
I sleep within your beauty,
While it mends my wounds,
Healing me,
Love you’ve given me,
Goddess of the stars.
Author's Notes: Like I said I like stars, hehe. This is probably one of my more meaningful thoughts, brought about by a recurring dream I had. Funny stuff =/
