Who I Am

I am the breeze softly whispering in the trees
I am the snow that falls from the sky so bright
I am the fire that burns on every desire
I am the sun that lights up your entire world
I am the beginning of life who gives you wings to carry on
I am your heart, your breath, and your soul of magick
I am your sweet dreams that come alive when you sleep
I am your spirit that never dies young
I am your diary that you share your every thought with
I am God giving life to everyone and thing about
I am the river running calmly into the distance
I am your all things possible
Author's Notes: This was written by my son Daniel Mehling earlier this year. It was read at the graveside portion of his funeral and will be inscribed on the back of his tombstone.
