"The Gift"

This room ... padded for my protection.
from all of my mind's imperfections.
like a splinter ... rapid infection.
drinkith my blood feed upon my soul.
with out you my body grows weary and cold.
only if you knew all your beauty I behold.
thousands of years will go by and our story will be told.
caressed in darkness and teetering on the edge
for you ..my life I pledge.
so far away all my light is gone.
no longer can I live a life alone.
my heart is sick with out you.
reflections of my reflection,
is the projection of my soul.
my heart See's what my eye's don't.
covered in a blanket of thorns.
from stems of roses they once adorned.
I'm immersed in the sacrifice I offer.
because you are precious even more then heaven.
only for you...only for you.
hear me as lie here suffering from your absent touch.
something so sweet and true I yearn for, is it asking to much?
I live for you and will die for you.
I will be first to stand and last to fall.
for you I'm willing to give all.
