First Love-Dedicated to Lenny B.

Our friendship has lasted throughout many a year,
We have shared the laughter and we have shared the tears,
But now a new discovery has come upon my heart,
A feeling more than friendship has been there from the start,
Now when I look at you there is a twinkling in my eyes,
Something thats beautifully new and peacefully wise,
My feelings are a secret I will not revel but hide,
For if feelings are allowed to live, they too, have the chance to die.
So if I keep them from you and inconspicuously hid,
Its not because I didnt love you,
Its because I did.
Author's Notes: To Lenny B. I will always love you and I will never forget you as long as I live. In your life time, one person will come along and take your heart forever.That is a present from God.While here on earth, always remember,
Yesterday is the past,
Tomorrow is the future, And today is a gift, thats why we call it the Present.
