Song for Shekhinah 8-12-2007

(Written for and Dedicated to Shekhinah Mountainwater October 24, 1939 – August 11, 2007}
And she flies on silver wings, star-bound
Maiden, mother, crone
One and all, numinous and light
She hears the call of her Mother
and takes Her by the hand
Watch her rise
Dancing sweet star womon
Divine Goddess Daughter
Bright shining spirit
Watch her rise
Watch her rise
Twirling in the Perseids, flashing in the sky
Star dust and magick
And her footsteps rain falling stars as she passes
Dance Shekhinah Dance
Author's Notes: Dreamweaver is a Dianic Witch and Priestess and a member of the Susan B Anthony Coven #1. She lives in Indiana with her husband of over a decade, Billiam, who with her, Frater SPRV, and Quill Mastercraft, co-founded the Michiana Pagan Alliance. She teaches Dianic Philosophy at the Dianic University online as well as local workshops through the Lake Area Goddesses Society and does private mentoring through the Mystai of the Moon Dianic Tradition for womyn who are interested in following an Inititatory Path based in a modern Mystery Tradition. She has been published in several national and regional Pagan magazines. She is currently one of the organizers of the Hekate Rising Festival. She is also an artist, mom, and nurse - and she makes a really good guacamole.
