Seasonal Thoughts

Feeling the seasons slowly change
The sun sinks in the sea
The life of all our friends long past
Come flooding back to me
In reverence we remember those
Who walked along our path
In light we tend to hold them close
Celebrating their past pats
We give our thanks to the mother
Wherever she may be
For giving us the crossroads,
And letting us be free
As the sun god dies we celebrate his life
Bringing our thoughts with those faded away
We rejoice and we sing our hearts renewed
As we mourn the darkening days
For away in the dark there lies such a spark
Of the new life not far away
When the sun will return, a new rebirth
And the world will again come alive
