Tears of the Moon
by Lady Abigail
Across time my spirit is called to a sound,
Silence and low from a place not yet found.
Tears of the moon call my ancestors come.
Their voices I hear like some distance drum.
A drumming familiar to my wondering heart,
Beckoning me come like the fire to the spark.
Drifting in memories misplaced long ago,
I seek what is lost veiled in the flow.
Concealed in shadows of a mystical night,
Transported in darkness soon there is light.
Thirteen ravens and thirteen stones,
Songs from a past that few have known.
Each glittering drop of dew on the ground,
Brings life to this spiraling circle round.
I dance to the drums of Mother Earth,
My spirit reborn in a mystic rebirth.
The moon holds me in Her shimmering embrace,
She fills my spirit with Her love and grace.
Solitary hearts in a circle of stones,
Dancing together we are never alone.
The glistening lights surround me in blue,
Spirits besiege me in this circle anew.
Tears of the moon call my ancestors come.
Their voices I hear in those distance drums.
