I reached out to the goddess today…

I reached out to the goddess today…
I wanted to know what she’d say
Because I knew that my dedication
Has slowly been slipping away
I reached out to the goddess today…
Acknowledging I’d not done my part
To settle the spirits and use my gifts
I felt I was falling apart
I reached out to the goddess today….
She held me close to her heart
With a sigh of relief she took in the grief
And allowed my soul to restart
I reached out to the goddess today…
She knew I was coming of course
With each tear drop I cried, in the blink of an eye
The world seemed less dismal and dark
I reached out to the goddess today…
Her heartbeat settled my brain
She whispered the words I needed to hear
And her spirit relieved me of pain
I reached out to the goddess today…
Reminded of my gifts and my path
She guided me before, now I know so much more
To remember I just retrace back
I reached out to the goddess today…
I’m a better person because of it
She let my heart sing of the glory of things
Let the fellowship grow to much more.
