Today I kneel at my altar
I bow my head in my worship
I whisper my heartfelt endearments
my thoughts and prayers
I ask for fruition of tasks, for strength
both for me and for others
The incense for this day is made
of open blooms of hyacinth
My athame made of shears
The altar of earth is dressed
in petals and leaves
All elememts are honored here
in the earth of my garden, in the blessed spring
rain, as the gentle wind caresses, and the fiery sun slips
from behind the clouds to smile upon me.
Daffodils tilt upwards their heads to serve as chalices
for the dew
I am blessed in this day.
