The haunting sound of the clock echoed
In the dark, damp, empty room.
With every passing minute my life that
Once thrived for you dies in vain.
You're once attractive face
I adores fades like a memory with time.
If I kept giving you my soul with due time
You would have enslaved me for your pleasure.
You have pierced a hole right directly through
My already broken heart.
Every chime of the clock represents the lost hopes
And dreams of a young life.
A life of torment and rejection transforms
An innocent and caring soul into a bitter
And heartless presence.
Time proceeds to prevent a heartless and unsensitive act
Of torturing and misleading human being.
