The Goddess

Goddess
Sometimes life can be unbearable.
Ruthless people take advantage of you.
They will kick you and tell you it’s right.
And the god of war laughs at the meek.
Sometimes it takes compassion to see the truth.
Only a true master of life’s trials can teach you to survive.
Some wars can be won without ever lifting a weapon.
The Goddess of war can teach you how to fight without a sword.
Author's Notes: I wrote this for my creative writing class and I am hopeing to get it posted in my colleges student eassy and poetry yeary collection. My engish com. teacher like it so, I though you might.
