Tears of Blood
by Fire Starter
Age Group: Adult
As tears of blood and pain fall down my pale cheeks
I watch you as you step up with note that
I left before I died.
So stepping closer and I realize that tears are falling down your face.
You read the note to all those who were there.
Once you were done, you wipe away your tears and say only loud enough for me to here,
"why did you leave me? why did you leave, you know I can't survive this world alone without you here..."
So, you turn away just as they begin to put the dirt over the casket,
I to turn away.
You start walk towards were I once was.
As I here your gasp, I look down
To see that my body was taking
The physical form for one last time.
Looking up, I slightly smile and say,
"I left because I couldn't stand all the pain that was causing the grief that tears my heart."
Then without another word, I turned
To fade into the mist that had
Come out of nowhere.
Well, my sister just turned and walked away, but then turned and looks back with a slight teary smile before turning away and never looking back.
Author's Notes: This is a poem that I wrote when I was feeling sad and very mad at my sister for what she had done to me. So, this is something that is very close to me. Hope you like it. Merry ye meet, and merry ye part.
