Baby steps in the sand

Age Group: Adult
Our legs
are far too long
and lanky
do they look
shaky, wobbly,
and far too harsh
are our first
foot prints
in the sand
at times
we need held upright
at times
a simple touch will do
to ensure
us
that our complex world
will not
come crumbling through
and as we take
those baby steps
into the scary sands
each step
brings more certainty
that one day
shall we again stand
There is no
"easy" way to win
against life
which can
stand so grim
...but there is ONE certain way...
take
baby steps
in the sand
Even in this
unknowing future
I now face...
baby steps
is what
I choose to take
My home is slowly becoming my new store and shop
thank you to those who sent their prayers and hopes to me
and
should
you
find the need
then take baby steps
in the sand
