OBLIQUE PROCESSION TO GOD

by Duality'sManager - Dagaz

Age Group: Adult

OBLIQUE PROCESSION TO GOD
location: 67341
mood: blank-slate
music: E Nomine Lucifer

Oh, thou creation of Mother to father
Of fallen angel and Fae
Out of Dark Abyss did thou groweth -
Or from the history of time and space thy coming foretold?

Hath thou stood apon our continuous past
From the settling of planetoids' mass
Building other planets to rhyme -
Each season which the sun and moon did climb?

Did thee begin the fires
Ice the harsh storms
Which mountains and seas all were formed
And tempest winds from celestial dorms -
Didst thou truely blowest cross her great forms?

Did thee rise from the ash of volcano and steam
Spread out your hands while grabbing star-stream
Bring from elsewhere life to plant as seed
Stare into space stating your case -
Call us to life to crawl on our face?

Didst thou cover her grace with the giant tree
The grains of each valley unfolded thee
To rise up the flower, the fruit and the seed
After settling the twirl to exacting essential speed -
In order to bring an eternity?

Could thee grow up amoeba and generate more
The ancient ones of fossilized lore
Which flew in the sky and swam to the shore
That climbed underground and trampled more -
To grow only oil for later no more?

Could you change the route of thy plan with such ease
To send giant meteorite as a short sneeze
To snuff out your work so you could rebuild free
To not implant annihilation to larger than the bees -
That flowers and trees may again be seen?

Did you ask us to dwell within caves cold
Scare us with dangers long ago told
Train us in sorrow so we could be bold
Then demand of us sacrifice -
Because you're so old?

Did you call it "Religion" even then
Or did you ask us to listen like women and men
Did you warn us to not learn and grow
As that stupid bible tells us so -
(the rest, is up to each one and all...ignorance is Not bliss - no matter how small!)
