Do you know me

Do you know me?
Where these lines of mine
cross that silent frontier
holds fast your heart
That beat, that within flows
where my words cross and hold
You deep into my bosom.
Can you see me there?
Where my words impair
every image into a fancy dream
That within lives as constant as mine.
Little sparks ignite, fly
where the barrier of time yields the desire
That you have known me before this time
held my hand and soul entwined.
Ah! but shall you seek me?
Will you find!
The ways that within signed
My name deep upon your heart.
The flood that is our soul
The quite night the gentle flow
of what in this my soul
you already know.
Then come my love
where the winds gather
and dreams flood
upon the planes where tranquil thought
hovers upon your breast
and summons deep from rest
that raging fire that wants my form
the desire, the passions beyond the storm
And gathers me to you.
