Dream's foretold

Age Group: Adult
The drops of the moment
draw deep within me
the gravity of a heart
that beats so to the longing
that need that perhaps it may never attain
grows within those bounds
knows the sounds that roll
upon the open presses of love.
Can a mind truly see
reach out beyond the would be's
and there in the gardens of fate
draw fresh the flowered bloom.
Can another truly attain
the level of need to sustain
this walk, journey of a life
without the substance
that holds all to and fro
where, there, the melody
Of the heart holds true.
Do any of us truly foresee
the sweet dignity
that pours out from the simple embrace
the love that therein does trace
those portions that of ourselves fills
And grows beyond any dream or known measure.
That a tear may fall from the happiness
ferment the soil of a Soul so profoundly
That till that moment life was void, dead.
It is this love
this impregnated concept of being
that grows within us
allows us to truly be, hold and all
upon the vision of the perfected moment, Time
When all rides the vanquished slopes of passion.
It is here upon the silence
where two hearts softly beat
holds the other complete
As to all that dream foretold.
