Werewolf Poem

Twisting, stretching, pulling, yearning,
Something from the darkness comes.
Awaking now the moon is full,
drawn by it's essence, drawn by its pull.
Darkness waking to fulfill its needs,
this darkness wakens so it can feed.
The beast within replaces the man,
it has one night to do what it can.
Sweet, beautiful and lush, yes, it calls to me.
Blood, I smell it, its calling me,
where it comes from I can not yet see.
I crave it, I need it, the warm feel in my mouth.
The taste of the flesh and the heat of the blood.
Its no use I can’t fight it, the thoughts start to flood.
Kill, the voices tell me. Its time for us to eat.
My primal addiction I can never defeat.
Others I hear, in my head and in me.
Comfort they give, no reason to flee.
My brothers and sisters and others like me,
its time for the hunt now....all senses are free.
