A Single Kiss Caused the World to Crumble

The taste of her
still on my lips.
The embodiment of desire
just beyond my fingertips.
Here I am, stuck in a mire.
Being, oh, so very near
the air is enough
to intoxicate you here
where you stand, tough.
A facade melts away like a tear.
Like an ocean, smooth as a mirror
reflecting what you want to see.
Sparkling and mesmorizing or
a lure to the sea.
A whispered breath creates shivers.
Closed and trying to smother
the bane to my advancement;
however I want no other.
I know you, nothing was meant.
Now burns the passion of fire.
Here I am, stuck in a mire.

By the ones, I have fallen again.
