I Am What I Am-- Witch!

Age Group: Adult
I am what I am--
Mother, daughter, sister, wife..
Witch!
I am decried when people see my pentacle
Woven in vines on a silver chain,
Or dangling gold in my ears.
Too bad they can't see past it--
They close their eyes and their ears,
Even their hearts because they fear
Me and all am I and all I stand for...
But does that one word describe me completely??
I am so much more than that,
Embrace so much more in my life.
I do everything they do, except worship...
Does that make me bad, or inheritantly evil?
*Shrug* I don't think so
Perhaps it is human nature to shun that
Which they don't understand
But isn't it time to move past
Race and religion and the color of ones skin?
Because I won't, can't change--
A witch is simply one of a million things I am!!!
Author's Notes: Just a short lil blurb... Lemme know if you liked it!!! I'm kinda rusty on my poetry, and I kinda get sidetracked...So I welcome constructive criticism!!
