Behold the Gods

Blessed morning
and blessed night.
Behold the gods
and all their might.
Hearken to the divine call,
their powerful cries traveling swiftly
through the breeze and in the water
for the gods, they love us all.
Their faces appear within the fire,
their footsteps echo through the earth.
Hearken to their divine call
for their words, they will inspire.
Feel their presence within your breast,
the gods, they shape your very spirit.
Hearken to their joyous voices,
the sound, it helps one rest.
Blessed morning
and blessed night.
Behold the gods
and all their might.
Author's Notes: I wrote this after doing a brief meditation on my deities, and was stricken with the urge to write this down. I feel that it could be better than it is, but this is what came out of my head.
