My Sins
I know I make mistakes with you,
Though you try to hide the pain.
I wish I could be the sun for you,
In your silence, brings my rain.
When I don’t know what to do,
My mind tells me lies in shame.
I can’t help but wonder what’s true,
Yet still I know I am to blame.
I wish you would share your secrets,
I beg you to share your soul,
I know you like to keep quiet,
But In your silence I feel the cold.
I ask you to speak what’s on your mind,
So I know what I have done wrong.
You ask me to give you time,
And wait I will, till your dawn.
I’m sorry for what I have done,
I wish I could take it back.
All I can do is wait, for one
The spark I want to come back.
Somewhere in your silence,
Lies the truth I seek.
I know I must serve penance,
But waiting makes me weak.
I beg for your forgiveness,
And I wish to make amends.
I’m sorry for my weakness.
Please forgive me for my sins.
